You Are Always Blessed

You, who are reading this right now. You are always blessed by God. I guess that’s what He wanted me to write about today.

Somehow God wanted to remind you that you are always blessed because He always blesses you. You don’t agree with me?

Have you stopped breathing since you started reading this? No, right? And you’re still breathing! And I believe your heart is still beating, right? And you woke up this morning! Every waking moment is a blessing!

Okay, okay, so perhaps I’m writing this to myself also. Like, yes, there are times when I feel like God isn’t blessing me. When I feel like He’s always shutting me out, not answering my prayers (or saying “no” to them.) When I remember my past scholastic and corporate achievements, and then look at my life now as a stay-at-home mom, then enter that pity party of not having the same achievements as a mom…

Yes, there are lots of moments that I forget that I am blessed. But there are also lots more of those moments where God reminds me that He is always blessing me.

Like, when there is silence in the house and I can hear myself think, or hear Him speak to me. When I’m able to do something I wasn’t thinking about being able to finish it once I started (like this post, no drafts on standby, just God allowing me to continue on writing). When my daughter gives me random hugs, kisses, and tells me she loves me, it’s like God is doing that to me through her. And there are a lot more.

For you who is reading, there may be more moments for you where God is reminding you that you are always blessed. Perhaps it’s in the form of a fast traffic flow or a vacant parking slot. Or your favorite coffee that’s readily available and piping hot in your office lounge. That “Good Morning” and “Have a Great Day” from someone special.

The blessing can be outright and simple or even great. Though it may come disguised. Like an unsuccessful business venture, that could be paving the way to a better and more successful one. A failed relationship because someone “better” and much more “right” for you is coming. Losing a valuable and priceless possession, and learning to appreciate what you currently and still have.

I don’t know about you, but just having the time, and the Internet connection to read (and even just stumble upon) this post is a blessing already. Being able to read and understand it is a blessing. Recognizing the words, putting them together, knowing the meaning. Blessing.

I could go on and on and on and on on the super unlimited blessings that God has showered us. So I think we could all agree now.

We Are Always Blessed. Right?? Right!!

Pass this along to someone whom you think might need it. It doesn’t have a lot, but it’s reminder enough. 😊
